FRANLIN, La. (
KLFY) — Franklin Police are seeking public assistance to solve the three unsolved homicides of Rock Jones, Cahyvion Alexander and Durall Alexander.
The cases remain open, with Jones killed in June 2021 when her home was struck by gunfire, and Cahyvion and Durall both killed in January 2022 under similar circumstances.
“You still have to have hope that one day, someone is going to come forward or one day, that missing piece of evidence is going to happen,” said Corporal Dajanique Ryes of the Franklin Police.
In June 2021, the 65-year-old Jones was killed while asleep in her recliner when her residence was riddled with bullets.
In January 2022, the 19-year-old Cahyvion was shot in the head while driving on Casey Street, causing his vehicle to overturn in a church parking lot. Just hours later, the 43-year-old Durall was killed when his home on James Street was struck by gunfire multiple times.
Franklin Police have not been able to determine if Cahyvion and Durall are related or if their shootings are connected. They continue to urge anyone with information about these cases to come forward by calling or texting 337-940-4771.
