Jackson police arrest mother, 5 teens after multiple thefts
Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said a 14-year-old, three 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old were arrested on September 12, 2025. They were charged with three counts of business burglary and five counts of auto theft.
According to police, three of the teenagers broke into the Tobacco and Vape shop in the 4800 block of Highway 18 on August 6, 18 and 24. Police said the five teenagers stole five vehicles between August 2025 and September 10, 2025.
Police said the mother of one of the teenagers, Chasity Davis, 40, was also arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. According to investigators, Davis knew about her son’s criminal activities.
