Columbus police investigate shooting that left 2 people injured near Veterans Parkway
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department announced on Friday that a shooting investigation has been launched after a shooting that happened near Veterans Parkway.
CPD posted on its X (Twitter) page saying that an investigation is underway after two people were injured following a shooting that happened in the 1200 block of Veterans Parkway.

The two people injured in the shooting were transported to an area hospital to receive treatment, but the current extent of their injuries remains unknown.
