Occupants injured while escaping Abilene house fire

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Multiple occupants were injured while escaping from a house fire in Abilene Tuesday night.

The fire happened at a home on the 1200 block of Park Street around 11:00 p.m.

A report from the Abilene Fire Department states smoke and fire was coming from the front of the home when first responders arrived on scene, but they were able to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the house.

Multiple occupants were able to escape the fire but were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

The fire caused an estimated 0,000 worth of damage and is still under investigation.
