Livingston Parish deputies arrest registered sex offender after investigation
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Deputies arrested a Denham Springs man who is a registered sex offender after an investigation.

Jackson Neyland Jr. was charged with 31 counts of child sexual abuse materials and four counts of failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said Neyland is currently a Tier 2 registered sex offender. He was previously convicted of sexual battery in 2021 and is required to register as a sex offender until October 2046.

The sheriff’s office said additional charges are pending further investigation.
