BRAITHEWAITE, La. (WGNO) — A Braithewaite woman was accused of various sex crimes on Monday, Sept. 8.
According to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, 25-year-old Sarah Hannah Latapie was arrested and is facing 22 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material under the age of 13 and one count of sexual abuse of an animal.
Agents initially received the tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit and the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office.
Latapie was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison.
