14 building permits issued for Mountain Home in August


In August, 14 building permits were issued according to a report from the City of Mountain Home’s Office Manager of Planning and Engineering Department Jeannie Anderson.Commercial sign permits
Five commercial sign permits were issued. The first went to Casey’s #3235 located at 859 HWY 62 E for a construction value of $16,000. The second went to Baxter County Health Unit at 850 Buttercup Dr. for $5,900. The third permit was issued to Casey’s #3530 at 220 HWY 5 N for $17,000. The fourth went to Tank Rea Insurance at 326 E 9th St. for $6,800. The fifth permit was issued to 870 Coffee Co LLC at 10 Paul Wood Ln for $785.
Commercial permits
Three commercial permits were issued in August. Two were for remodels including Arvest Bank located at 819 Wallace Knob Rd. for $185,000 and Ozark Optical at 210 Bomber Blvd. for $35,000. A new commercial building permit was issued to ALDI Inc. for a property at 45 Charles Blackburn Dr., valued at $4,350,000.




Residential permits
Four new residential building permits were issued. Two went to JCT Ventures for properties at 411 and 415 Locust St., each valued at $170,000. A residential remodel permit was issued to Chris and Emily Floyd for their property at 1802 Brentwood Dr., valued at $286,373. A residential addition permit was issued to Pam Ezell for her property at 1021 Spring St., with a construction value of $20,000.

Residential accessory permits
One residential accessory structure permit was issued to Bobby Marston for a property at 1104 Ramble Ln., valued at $3,178.40.

The total construction valuation for all permits issued in August was $5,266,036.40, with $11,203.46 in fees collected.
