It’s starting to feel like fall, which is perfect timing for the return of Oktoberfest.

The Germanic-American Institute will hold its annual two-day Oktoberfest celebration this Friday and Saturday in St. Paul, featuring live polka, Bavarian beer and traditional German fare.

Liz Grey Eagle with the Germanic-American Institute sat down with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS anchor Alex Jokich to share more about what to expect.

St. Paul Oktoberfest takes place from 4-10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13. Admission is free, and a $10 wristband grants attendees access to beer and wine.
