Cross Lake Palooza: 13 bands, food, and fun for a cause

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Cross Lake Palooza will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the American Legion Post 14, 5315 S. Lakeshore Drive.

Admission is $10 per person, and children under 12 are admitted free.

The event, featuring two stages and 13 bands performing a variety of genres, benefits the Guitars 4 Vets program,

the largest chapter of its kind in the United States. Proceeds will fund new guitars for veterans diagnosed with PTSD who participate in a 10-week music program culminating in a graduation ceremony and presentation of a new guitar and accessories.

This year’s lineup includes Message from Mercury, Embrace the Filth, Within the Balance, Clay Logan, Jimmy Wooten, Daniel Scott and the Jazz Trio, Sonny Boy Rambin and the Ramblers, Jester, Display Only, Noah Grant, and Seth Bradford.

Food trucks, a canteen with cold drinks, raffles, a lip sync contest, and an air guitar competition will add to the festivities. Life Share Blood will also host a blood drive during the event.

The festival will be held rain or shine, with indoor space available if needed.
