COPA investigates after shooting involving CPD officer on West Side

CHICAGO (WGN) —  Chicago’s Office of Police Accountability (COPA) is investigating a shooting involving a CPD officer on the city’s West Side on Saturday morning.

According to COPA, the shooting unfolded in the 800 block of North Waller Avenue in Austin.

Chicago police have not yet offered updates on the incident and it is unclear if anyone was injured.
