Expereo appoints Kevin Brown as COO

Expereo has announced the appointment of Kevin Brown as its new Chief Operating Officer. He will take on a role where his focus will be on the operational integration, efficiency, and scaling its customer and supplier-facing functions globally.

Brown will oversee operational strategy, transformation delivery, and performance for all customer and supplier-facing functions. He will also collaborate with the Digital Office to advance our digital transformation.

Who is Kevin Brown?

Brown is a global executive with a track record of transforming operations, scaling businesses, and delivering sustained growth across Cybersecurity, Managed Services, and SaaS. Brown joins Expereo after two and a half years as Chief Operating Officer at the NCC Group.

He was the NCC Group’s first COO and accountable for around 70% of workforce and cyber P&L. During his time there he established an offshore hub. He also introduced a wide variety of processes to improve  efficiency, NPS, retention & renewals.

Brown is an active non-executive cyber advisor to GALLOS Technologies. Also, he spent time advising Insight partners as their resident CISO for their CxO in Residence program. Moreover he is an experienced board member, currently serving as a member of the board of Trustees for the Box Moor Trust, a charitable trust managing 500 acres of protected land and heritage.

Prior to the NCC Group he spent ten years at BT as an executive in the security division. He led all aspects of Security at BT, serving as both CISO & commercial lead. He built and led a $1B business as Managing Director.

Brown also spent 20 years in the police force, specialising on intelligence and serious crime.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Expereo has brought on board a very experienced leader who has led change in significant organisations. As the company aims to scale, Brown brings a depth of experience that should help the company evolve its processes and systems to ensure that the internal operations align with the pressures that growth normally brings.

That Brown has chosen to join Expereo is indicative of the potential he sees in the organisation. It will be interesting to see what he changes and how the company evolves over the coming months.
