Dino O’Dell’s educational show comes to Shreveport libraries
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Dinosaur “Dino” O’Dell is bringing his unique brand of children’s entertainment to Shreve Memorial Library from September 8 to September 11 in a series of free shows.

Dino combines music, stories, and animations to create interactive performances that are both educational and entertaining.

As a musician, author, storyteller, and educator, Dino O’Dell’s performances teach topics such as mathematics, geography, astronomy, earth science, and early literacy.

He counts monsters, fixes spaceships, and swims in peanut butter to bring concepts to life while teaching.

On Monday, September 8, Dino O’Dell will perform at the Higginbotham-Bryson Branch in Greenwood at 10 a.m. and the West Shreveport Branch at 4:45 p.m.

Dino O’Dell will perform at the North Shreveport Branch at 10 a.m. and the Mooretown Branch at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9.

The performances on Wednesday, September 10, will take place at the Hollywood/Union Avenue Branch at 10 a.m. and the Broadmoor Branch at 4:30 p.m.

On Thursday, September 11, Dino O’Dell will perform at the David Raines Branch at 10:00 a.m. and the Cedar Grove-Line Avenue Branch at 3:30 p.m.

All performances are free and open to the public.
