30-year-old Topeka man killed in August shooting

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department (TPD) is releasing new information following a deadly August shooting.

The TPD reported on Thursday, Sept. 4 that 30-year-old Topeka resident, Cody Bush, was killed in a shooting last month. His death is under investigation as a homicide.

Police were called around 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 14 to the 2400 block of Southeast Bellview Avenue on reports of a shooting. Officers found two people at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds with one person, later identified as Bush, dying at the scene.
