The exterior signage was unveiled during an event on Tuesday that included Philadelphia sports mascots like Gritty and Franklin. The Flyers Ice Team and the 76ers Drum Line were also there to help celebrate a new era for the South Philadelphia Sports Complex.

Comcast Spectacor made the naming rights announcement in May. Xfinity Mobile will have naming rights for the sports and entertainment venue through the 2030-2031 season.

The Xfinity Mobile Arena is home to the Philadelphia Flyers, 76ers, Wings, college basketball, and entertainment events.

Before being named the Wells Fargo Center from 2010 to 2025, the venue was previously known as the Wachovia Center from 2003 until 2010, the First Union Center from 1998 to 2003, and the CoreStates Center from its opening in 1996 through 1998.
