Janesville Police reported that Bradley J. Skelley, 59, was driving drunk around 11:40 p.m. when an officer attempted a traffic stop. Skelley ignored law enforcement and sped away, police said.
Ultimately, officers threw stop sticks in front of the vehicle to puncture its tires, and then the pursuing officer used a pursuit intervention technique (PIT maneuver) with a squad car to end the pursuit.
Skelley was charged with OWI (12th offense), reckless driving, fleeing, resisting arrest, probation violation, and numerous traffic violations.
