
Wednesday Temperatures: Daytime temperatures on Wednesday will be a little hotter and close to normal. Expect highs to mainly be in the lower 90s with a few upper 80s over the northern half of the area. Overnight lows will also be near or slightly below normal in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Don’t expect any rain: Futurecast continues to show a mainly dry weather picture. We will see a partly to mostly cloudy sky on Tuesday night. Wednesday may begin with quite a few clouds. We will then see a very small chance of a few spotty showers. Expect dry conditions to return on Thursday and continue through Friday.
Long-range outlook: Temperatures will get much hotter by the end of this week. Daytime highs will soar into the mid to upper 90s by Friday. Cooler air will gradually return by the weekend as temperatures ease into the 80s and lower 90s. Overnight lows will gradually warm into the low to middle 70s and then drop into the 60s by the middle of next week. Our next chance of rain will be this weekend into early next week. The Blend of Models now indicates that 1 to 2” will be possible over the NW half of the ArkLaTex. The dry weather pattern will resume late next week with a slow warming trend. Highs will return to the low 90s, while lows will stay close to 70.
