Ascension Parish deputies identify man killed in Darrow shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office identified the man who was shot and killed on Friday, Aug. 29.

According to the sheriff’s office, Tyjon Comery, 18, of Darrow, was found with a gunshot wound after deputies responded to a home on Brown Extension Road.

Investigators are still looking for a motive and suspect in connection with the shooting. APSO said they do have a person of interest, but details are limited in this case.
