At the opening, the new location donated $18,000 to One Heart NOLA, a nonprofit that aims to assist aged out foster kids in their teen and young adult years.
“At One Heart NOLA, we’re all about making the extraordinary ordinary. We have the privilege of being a safety net for our young adults trying to find their way, and with support and encouragement, we have changed the trajectory of many lives,” said Teri Hrabovsky, founder and executive director. “These are our kids, and they are worth the investment, so we’re very grateful to 7 Brew’s partnership and generous support.”
7 Brew Harvey hosted a donation weekend from Aug. 22 through Aug. 24, where customers could try a limited menu and pay what they wanted as a donation to One Heart NOLA.
They are hosting community hours through Friday Sept. 5 from 7-8 a.m., 12-1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m., where all customers who stop in will receive a free, small drink.
7 Brew is known for its coffee, energy drinks, teas and sodas.
