Over 6,500 people without power in Davis County
One of the outages has been fixed, restoring power to around 3,000 customers. According to the outage map, 3,569 customers are still without power. Power is now expected to be restored for the rest of the customers by 3 a.m.
DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Over 6,500 Rocky Mountain Power customers are currently without power in Davis County, and power is estimated to be restored before tomorrow morning.
According to Rocky Mountain Power’s Outage Map, 6,503 customers are experiencing outages near Clearfield. The outages were first reported around 7:15 p.m., and the cause of the outages is currently listed as a substation problem.
Crews have been notified, and Rocky Mountain Power told ABC4.com that their troubleshooter is currently at the substation to determine what the problem is.
Currently, Rocky Mountain Power is estimating that power will be restored before 7 a.m. on September 2.
