Freeport’s 2025 ‘NorthWest Illinois Airshow’ canceled

FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — The 2025 NorthWest Illinois Airshow, which was scheduled to be held Saturday, September 20th, has been canceled.

Event organizers announced the cancellation on Tuesday, citing “unforeseen health issues impacting our promoter.”

Staff added that they were working with their ticketing vendor to arrange for refunds.

The event was to be held at Albertus Airport, located at 1255 E Airport Road, and feature performances by aerial acrobatic pilots.
