Deputy arrested after domestic assault call in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A Fairfax County Deputy Sheriff has been arrested after reports of a domestic assault incident, authorities detailed.

On Aug. 29, around 4:45 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Summit Corner Drive in Fair Oaks for a domestic call.

The victim reported being assaulted during an argument. Officers found 36-year-old Katherine Lepkowski, of Fairfax, and took her into custody.

Lepkowski is facing charges of assault on a family member. She was released on a summons-releasable warrant.
