Arrest made in Oregon for trespassing, meth possession, and DUI

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — A 44-year-old Oregon, Illinois, man has been arrested on warrants for trespassing and possession of methamphetamine.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department, Robert VanDyke was arrested in the 1000 block of S. 2nd Street Monday night around 8:25 p.m.

Police said VanDyke was wanted for criminal trespass to a building in Ogle County and possession of methamphetamine and a DUI in Lee County.

He was booked into the Ogle County Jail pending the outcome of a pretrial detention hearing.
