Three people killed in head-on crash on I-15 in St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC4) — Three people have been confirmed dead in a multi-car crash on northbound I-15 near St. George.

Utah Highway Patrol confirms that a call came in for a wrong-way driver around 6:20 p.m. near milepost five. A single vehicle was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes before it collided with another vehicle at milepost four.

UHP confirms there are two cars that were involved in the collision. Three people have been confirmed dead, and another was transported to the hospital by helicopter.

Nortbound I-15 is closed at milepost four and is expected to remain closed for several hours. Drivers heading northbound are being forced off at Exit 4 to rejoin the interstate at Exit 5.
