Fans will once again see the team rocking gold jerseys as they take on the Arizona Cardinals.
The “Gameday Golds” is an alternate uniform for the team during the week 1 home opener. The uniform is part of the “ongoing efforts to enhance the Saints’ gameday experience,” said Saints officials.
This will mark the first time since 2002 that the team will be seen in gold.
“The updated design offers a modern twist on the original look, honoring the team’s history while ushering in a new chapter for the franchise,” said Saints officials.
In honor of the rollout, from Sept. 1 to Sept. 4, the Saints will host a Prize Hour Jersey Drop presented by Caesars Sportsbook where fans will have the chance to win one of 10 autographed Cam Jordan gold jerseys.
This will happen during a fast-paced 10-minute giveaway window starting at 12 p.m. each day.
To participate, download and sign in to the Saints mobile app.
Kick-off is at 12 p.m.
