Man, woman injured in shooting at Jackson gas station

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man and a woman were shot at a gas station.

The shooting occurred in the 200 block of Flag Chapel Road around 11:00 p.m. on August 31, 2025.

Jackson police said the 23-year-old male victim told officers that someone fired shots at him. He was shot in the leg and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, the 24-year-old female victim was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. They said the woman was at the gas station when she heard several shots. She was also shot in the leg.

The suspects have not been identified, and there is no motive for the shooting.
