LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Two juveniles have been injured in a Lafayette shooting over the weekend.

The Lafayette Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, on the 1100 block of Maryview Farm Road.

According to officials, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in progress.

When they arrived, officials said they found two juvenile victims who had suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where they received treatment for their injuries.

The investigation indicates that an unknown suspect shot into a residence where the juveniles and other individuals were located.
