4 people wounded in drive-by shooting overnight in Humboldt Park, according to Chicago police

CHICAGO — Four people were wounded in a drive-by shooting overnight in Humboldt Park on the city’s Northwest Side, according to Chicago police.

Police say all four shooting victims were taken to area hospitals in good condition.

According to a preliminary investigation by police, multiple unknown offenders in two unknown vehicles drove past a group of people standing outside in the 2700 block of West Haddon Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Several people in the vehicle then took out guns and opened fire, hitting four of the people standing outside.

The shooting victims ranged in age from 26 to 39, three of them women and one a man, according to police.

Police say nobody is in custody and Area Three detectives are investigating.
