Kaiden Nicholas Knight, 19-year-old Allison Marie Motes and a juvenile male were all charged with involvement in robbing a victim in Keller Park in mid-August.
Motes is being represented by Harrison attorney Phillip Moon. A not guilty plea was also entered on her behalf.
Knight and the juvenile are reported to have approached the victim and a passenger in his vehicle “brandishing firearms” and wearing masks.
The victim told police he had come to the park to meet Motes to pick up $100 that was owed to him.
When the victim arrived at the park, Knight and the juvenile male were hiding behind a car being driven by Motes.
They were reported to have run to each side of the victim’s vehicle. According to the probable cause affidavit, the victim and the passenger in his vehicle told officers Knight and the juvenile male “pointed firearms at them.”
The suspects made off with $350 the victim said he handed over to Knight. Police were reported to have found an “airsoft” gun and two black masks when the probable cause affidavit was written.
“Airsoft” guns are designed and built as exact replicas of real firearms. They are reported to be non-lethal and can fire 6mm plastic or biodegradable BBs. While non-lethal, the guns do have the potential for causing injury.
The victim said he recognized the voices and appearances of the two males who had robbed him which helped police track the two down.
Knight bond was set at $100,000, with Motes’ bond set at $50,000.
The case of the male juvenile allegedly involved in the incident is being handled by Baxter County Juvenile Services.
