Qvest & STACKIT Form Partnership For Sovereign Media Cloud In Europe

Qvest, a provider of media-focused services, and STACKIT, the cloud provider of the Schwarz Group, announce a strategic partnership. Together, the partners will further develop the STACKIT cloud system to meet the specific requirements of European media companies in terms of sovereignty, compliance and innovation. They say that providers from sectors such as TV, entertainment, streaming, sports and publishing “will thus benefit from state-of-the-art technology that complies with all EU regulations, offers maximum flexibility, and integrates seamlessly into existing IT and cloud structures.”

In light of growing geopolitical uncertainties and stricter European data protection requirements, there is an increasing need for sovereign solutions that complement existing cloud infrastructures. The Sovereign Media Cloud offers media companies additional regulatory security and greater control over sensitive data without restricting international technology partnerships or existing strategies, they say.
