PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A wildfire that sparked southwest of Eugene on Thursday afternoon has prompted Level 3 “Go Now” evacuations, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office said.

Officials say residents on Halderson Rd. West, to Central Rd. between Perkins Rd. and Cantrell Rd. in Veneta, Ore. are asked to leave immediately.

The full evacuation map can be viewed here.

“Failure to evacuate may result in injury or death. Drive carefully, turn on your headlights, and follow any directions from responders,” LCSO said.

This is a developing story.
