County, jail sales tax collections continue upward trend

Sales tax numbers are in for June 2025, and revenues are once again on the rise.
The County’s portion of sales tax increased by 0.6% compared to the same month last year, an additional $3,263.64. The Jail’s portion also rose by 0.6%, adding $1,432.60 over June 2024.

Year-to-date, collections remain strong. The County’s share is up 1.5% ($59,972.47), while the Jail’s portion is also up 1.5% ($26,325.26).

Budget projections have seen gains as well. The County’s portion is running 2.1% above projections, with the Jail’s portion up 1.4%.
