Chicago police said the shooting unfolded just after 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 8000 block of South Wood Street, in Auburn Gresham.
The victims, a 52-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, were outside in the area when officers say an unknown male approached and opened fire.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, where they were listed in good condition.
Currently, it is unclear what led to the gunfire and officers say no arrests have been made.
An investigation into the shooting is now underway.
