WATCH: Roads flood, disrupting morning commute in parts of Northern Utah
OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — Parts of northern Utah experienced scattered showers and thunderstorms with roads flooding and disrupting morning commute.

Near Washington Blvd and Harrisville Rd in Ogden, traffic was reduced to a single lane.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, both directions of Washington Blvd in Ogden and State St in Clearfield are impacted due to standing water. Drivers have been asked to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

According to ABC4’s 4Warn Weather Team, more scattered showers and thunderstorms are on deck for northern Utah, but they’ll be more isolated in southern Utah. 

In Washington County, the Virgin River Narrows and all slot canyons in Zion National Park are closed because the forecasted rainfall due to flash flooding risks.
