Day 5 fair attendance record
It took five days to set a state fair attendance record in 2025.
On Monday, 145,022 people walked through the fair gates, setting a new attendance record for the first Monday of the fair.
The previous record for the fifth day of the fair was set in 2017 when 144,504 people attended.
The first weekend of the 2025 fair saw higher attendance than the same weekend in 2024, but nowhere near record numbers despite cooler temperatures.
The oldest standing daily attendance record is from 1994, and for the first Sunday of the fair, when 209,969 people attended.
Most of other daily records are from 2018, 2019 or 2024.
