Results are in for the two special election primaries for the State Senate.
In State Senate District 47, current DFL State Representative Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger is the winner.

She will face Dwight Dorau, the only Republican candidate to fill the seat formerly held by Nicole Mitchell, who resigned in July after being convicted of two felonies for burglary.
In Senate District 29, Michael Holmstrom Jr. is the Republican winner.
He will face Louis McNutt, the sole DFLer, to replace the late Senator Bruce Anderson, who suddenly passed away last month.
Both special elections are set for Nov. 4th.
