North Alabama Municipal Election Results – Aug. 26, 2025

(WHNT) — Municipal elections took place Tuesday in several cities across the Tennessee Valley, and News 19 is following the results as they come in.

These municipal elections will determine who will be elected, or re-elected, to positions such as mayor, city council and school board.

We’ll be following the results as they come in for mayoral, city council and school board races in Albertville, Athens, Boaz, Decatur, Florence, Fort Payne, Guntersville, Hartselle, Madison, Moulton, Muscle Shoals, Priceville, Russellville and Tuscumbia.

We chose these cities because they are county seats or have populations over 10,000.
