BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) —  A former Port Allen mayor arrested on multiple charges after allegations of sexual misconduct with a juvenile has bonded out.

Derek Lewis, 64, of Addis, was charged with third-degree rape, indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Lewis is accused of giving alcohol to the juvenile before engaging in indecent behavior. A spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said Lewis bonded out on Tuesday. The amount was $250,000.

His arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 7.

A second suspect, Wyennetti Williams, 67, of Port Allen, was also arrested.
