Man dies after crashing into semi-truck in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is dead after the California Highway Patrol said he pulled out in front of a semi-truck Monday afternoon.

Around 1:15 p.m., a Hyundai Elantra was traveling west on North Avenue, slowing down to make a left turn at the intersection on Temperance Avenue. As he did, CHP says he pulled directly in front of a Freightliner tractor-trailer travelling east on the same road.
