BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The League of Women Voters of Bloomington-Monroe County will offer a public voter registration training session Sept. 13 at the Monroe County Public Library.
The training, scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. in Room 1B at the library, 303 E. Kirkwood Ave., will cover how to register Indiana citizens to vote and provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the process.
The session will be led by Ralf Shaw, co-chair of the league’s Voter Service Committee. Organizers say the training is open to anyone interested in participating in the election process.
“Helping more people understand how to properly register voters strengthens democracy at the local level,” Shaw said.
