According to police, numerous search warrants were served on electronic service providers during that time to gather evidence on Yazmani Rugerio-Castro, 18.
At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, officers with the Janesville Police Department raided a home in the 1500 block of Primrose Lane and arrested Rugerio-Castro after K9 Maui, an Electronic Storage Detection Canine, assisted with the search.
Rugerio-Castro was booked into the Rock County Jail.
Maui is one of eight K9s in Wisconsin with this special skill. The K9 and his handler often travel around Wisconsin.
