Hot and more humid today with pop up rain

Tuesday is off to a warm and mostly sunny start in Acadiana with slightly more humidity. Highs return to the mid 90s with a heat index near 105° during the hottest part of the day. A few pop up showers or storms are possible during the afternoon and evening hours.

A stalling cold front will enhance rain chances on Friday and throughout the weekend.
