The one reform we put in there is that if somebodies on Medicaid and they’re able bodied adult and they have no dependents then were going to ask them to at least for 20 hours a week work, volunteer or go to school.

The house proposed big beautiful bill would remove 3.2 Million adults from snap nationwide. This would affect nearly 200,000 Louisianans.
The 20 dollar cuts the state has the ability to offset that and the state can do some stuff to prevent that and so this is a partnership if it goes from the president senate congress all the way down to the governor state legislature down to the communities the governor and state legislature kind of have their own role too and so the reforms that are required cuts will be minimal if at all.
