Smiley will bring his famous characters and wit to the Maude Cobb Convention Center for “Rickey Smiley and Friends No Drama Comedy.”
The next day, as a treat to fans, proof of purchase from “No Drama Comedy” earns free entry to the “Day on the Green” music festival on August 31 in the Maude Cobb Convention Center Lawn Area. Hosted by Black Tony from “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show”, the festival will feature live blues and R&B, two DJs, food, drinks, and vendors on site.
Smiley is an author, actor, legendary comedian, and radio host known for playing a myriad of hilarious characters and making prank calls.
“The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” is a top-rated, nationally syndicated radio program heard in more than 70 cities across the country and has won the National Association of Broadcasters‘ Marconi Award for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year twice.
Smiley has also released eight best-selling comedy albums, including the number one comedy album, “Rickey Smiley: Prank Calls 6,” and starred in stand-up specials and television shows.
Doors open for No Drama Comedy at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
Gates open for The Day on the Green music festival at 5 p.m.
