MORTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Morton police are searching for a man who robbed a bank.

The robbery occurred at Priority One Bank in Morton around 9:15 a.m. on August 25, 2025.

According to police, a man walked into the bank and handed an employee a note that demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the incident. The suspect was last seen wearing black pants, a long white-sleeve shirt and a turquoise skull cap.

The bank robbery is under investigation by the Morton Police Department and the FBI. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the case.
