The Topeka Police Department (TPD) and other first responders are at the intersection of Southwest Washburn Avenue and Southwest 10th Street on Aug. 25. Law enforcement has closed the area to traffic and erected crime scene tape at the scene.
Police told a 27 News reporter at the scene a juvenile was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street. The individual, believed to be in critical condition, is now stable.
