Clyde J. Thibodeaux, 67, appeared in Randolph County Circuit Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
Each charge carries a 60-year sentence. Thibodeaux was ordered to serve each sentence consecutively – a combined 180 years.
The Sparta Police Department identified 11 victims, all under the age of 12 at the time of the incidents, spanning three jurisdictions, including Louisiana.
Thibodeaux was originally charged with eight counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
