In the tropics, Tropical Storm Fernand continues to head into open waters and will not be a threat to land. A tropical disturbance approaching the Lesser Antilles will be watched this week to see if it survives the journey through the Caribbean surrounded by wind shear and dry air. If it does, it could have a chance to develop by next weekend. For now, it is not a concern, just something to keep a watch on.
Locally, we see winds turn out of the south Tuesday leading to increased humidity and a few rain chances. Better rain chances arrive Wednesday ahead of a weak front that will once again bring lower humidity to the area to end the week. While an isolated shower will be possible each afternoon, Thursday through next weekend looks to remain dry with temperatures near 90.
