FNF: Xavier Owens shines in Edna Karr’s scrimmage with East St. John

RESERVE, La. — The Edna Karr Cougars have reloaded ahead of their Division I Select title defense.

The Cougars scrimmaged East St. John on Thursday afternoon at Joe Keller Memorial Stadium, and wide receiver Xavier Owens was electric with three touchdown receptions from John Johnson.

Edna Karr will host West Jefferson in their jamboree Thursday night, while East St. John will face St. Charles Catholic.

Here are highlights of the scrimmage featured on WGNO’s Friday Night Football.
