BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Buskirk-Chumley Theater has unveiled a packed fall schedule that includes a special evening with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Janis Ian, the annual BloominGrass bluegrass festival, and a wide range of concerts, films, and live performances.
Ian will appear at the theater Oct. 23 for a free event featuring a screening of Breaking Silence, followed by an in-person interview and audience Q&A. Tickets are required but available at no cost.
The BloominGrass 2025 Festival, set for Dec. 4, will be headlined by fiddler Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, bringing nationally acclaimed bluegrass talent to Bloomington.

The theater will also host special screenings, including Pitch Perfect 2 on Aug. 22 and John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) in October.
Additional events on the lineup range from jazz ensembles to podcasts, comedy shows, and literary evenings, including An Evening with John Green.
