Registration open for free after school programs in Shreveport with SPAR

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – If you are in need of after-school services Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) may have an opportunity just right for you and your family.

The program will provide a space for youth to focus on education, positive recreation, and also build life skills.

Participants can expect a range of activities such as:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Exciting activities
  • Field trips
  • Games
  • Homework assistance
  • Life skills classes
  • Sports

According to the webpage, the programs serve children aged 6 to 17 and operates Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
